Amazon Promise, a non-profit organization founded to provide medical care for the isolated communities of Northeastern Peru, is planning a new health clinic in the city of Belen. Amazon Promise has asked EWB to design the center which will provide basic health care services for the city's 74,000 residents. Many of the Belen residents cannot afford health care and there are minimal government services. Amazon Promise hopes to fill this this gap with their new clinic.
Your tax deductible donations are integral to the development and completion of our projects: Donate Online to Belen or the Chapter. Please contact belen.clinic@ewbny.org for more details.
